Boulevard, Davao City Floods

After my class yesterday around 9pm there was a heavy rain. On my way home to my boarding house i use a public utility jeepney (PUJ). From Jacinto street via Boulevard below is the picture i take. Flood is high that your shoes will be soaked deep. This is always the problem of Davao when it rains hard.

I wonder if the local government unit of Davao are doing something to resolve this floods.
